  Though the number of attacks seem to be leveling off, phishing scammers are getting more sophisticated. In March 13,353 unique phishing emails were reported to APWG. The number of unique phishing sites were 2,870 targeting 78 brands. New means of attacks used include Trojan-based key-logging, use of instant messaging and exploitation of vulnerabilities in Internet Explorer.
