The College of Business Administration is the only school in North Alabama accredited by the prestigious AACSB International - The Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business.

Organized in 1916, AACSB is the premier accrediting agency for bachelor's, master's, and doctoral programs in business administration and accounting. AACSB supports and encourages excellence in management education worldwide.

To achieve accreditation, business programs must satisfy the expectations of a wide range of quality standards relating to strategic management of resources, interactions of faculty and students in the educational process, and achievement of learning goals in degree programs. Less than 25% of all business schools in the U.S. have received this accreditation.

Recognition CBA's undergraduate business program was ranked in the top 10% business schools in the U.S. by the U.S. News and World Report's "America's Best Colleges" in 2007 and 2008. UAHuntsville ranks at number 79 among public business schools.

Reputation The University of Alabama in Huntsville was named the 15th best academic value in the nation by "Consumer Digest" magazine for 2007. UAHuntsville was also selected as one of "America's Best Value Colleges" in the 2007 edition of The "Princeton Review" and has been named as one of "Americas Best Buys" for 11 consecutive years by "Institutional Research".
