DR. TIMOTHY D. LANDRY

ASSOCIATE PROFESSOR OF MARKETING

Dr. Timothy Landry

PhD (Missouri) Professor Landry's teaching interests are in marketing, retailing and sales management. His research interests include retailer community embeddedness and customer loyalty, online privacy/security relating to retailer trustworthiness, and interpersonal dynamics in sales and service encounters. Additionally, he is involved in research addressing nonprofit marketing, the implications of stereotyping in advertising, and the deterrence of materialism and excessive personal consumption.

Professor Landry has been published in the Journal of the Academy of Marketing Science, Journal of Business Research, Journal of Marketing Theory and Practice, Journal of Nonprofit and Public Sector Marketing, Journal of Personal Selling and Sales Management, Journal of Relationship Marketing, Journal of Retailing, Journal of Retailing and Consumer Services, Journal of Services Marketing, Business Horizons and in various national and international conference proceedings. He has numerous research and teaching awards including Best Conference Paper for the SMA's annual conference in 2007. He is an active member of the Academy of Marketing Science, the American Collegiate Retailing Association, the American Marketing Association, and the Society for Marketing Advances. He serves on the editorial review boards for the Journal of Personal Selling and Sales Management and the Journal of Marketing Theory and Practice.

Before joining the faculty at the University of Alabama in Huntsville, he was an assistant professor at the University of Oklahoma and at Florida State University.
