Lily Lake

Lily Lake, situated in the southwest corner of RMNP, is a spot for everybody.  One need only drive (or perhaps bicycle) to get there.  The lake has fish (and fishing is allowed), very active ducks (see photos 5 and 6), picnic tables, a flat trail on its perimeter, and great views of the rest of the park, as visible above.  It's a great place to go if you just want to meander around and don't want to exert much effort.  It was very peaceful and very chilly (even though it said August on the calendar) the day I was there.
